Open your eyes and try to see clearly this isn’t the world we thought we lived in. Feeling like a mirage I don’t know what is real and what is true. I want the world I thought I lived in.
When I was younger I never saw what I see now but it’s always been this way. Blind to my own privilege and stuck in a bubble of my young mind while the whole world was at war with itself.

Open your eyes and see what is real. Everyone is stuck in this cycle of tearing each other down. No empathy shown just throwing stones. We’re stuck in this glass house and we’re watching the shards fall.

Are you looking now? It doesn’t have to be this way and I can’t understand why we have to live in vain. We are all the same human beings trying to navigate through this god damn maze that we all helped create.

Our differences define us they don’t confine us. Just open your mind and be set free.
